Paul Werenko

In addition to 20 years as a business owner / operator, Paul has spent a lifetime traveling and working throughout the world. With extensive travel in 40 countries on six of seven continents, 49 of the 50 United States, and boundless hiking, canoe, and sailing adventures, Paul’s passion within the past two decades has been Asia and the Indian Subcontinent. His sense of humor, kindness, affinity for languages and extreme adaptability have endeared him to local populations and fellow travelers across the globe. His vision for giving back to the developing world as well as the traveling community has driven the assembly of the North Star Journeys Team and their Mission.

Kelly Werenko

Kelly has focused her studies and career on personal responsibility, service to others, and spiritual practice. Her twenty years in the healing arts have led to travel throughout North and Central America, North Africa, Southeast Asia and the Indian Subcontinent. She is passionate about mutually beneficial cultural exchange, equal opportunity for women worldwide, and access to health care and education for residents of the developing world. Her values of honesty, fairness, compassion and equality help guide the heart of North Star Journeys.

Bern Hoffmann

Bern has traveled throughout Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and has recently returned from two years of work and travel through the South Pacific Rim, South East Asia, and the Indian Subcontinent. Combining his experience gained as a skydiving instructor, a classroom teacher, and a world traveler, he has created tours we consider matchless in terms of education, fun, and challenge. His humor and calm in the face of adversity make him an invaluable organizer and educator on the North Star Journeys Tours. Our mission would remain unfulfilled without his energy.
