While you are traveling and learning about the people and the cultures of India, you will be pleased to know that a portion of your travel fees will help some of India’s poorest children. The Smile Train is an international charity dedicated to helping the millions of children in the world who suffer from cleft lip and palate by providing free surgery for children, free training for doctors and research to find a cure. Since 1999, The Smile Train has provided free cleft surgery in more than 55 countries for more than 130,000 children who could not afford it.
